| “I had always risen to the top of any company I had worked for. At age 25, I was the Director of Medical Fitness and Athletic Training for a large Physical Therapy organization. After devoting 15 years building other people's businesses, I realized that my true professional satisfaction would only come by owning my own business. I evaluated many different business plans, examining financial stability, marketing plans, and the ability to run my studio with the minimum of corporate structure. This allowed me to attend community service meetings, network with other business owners, and still be home in time to play with my children and enjoy dinner with them, instead of a shake or nutrition bar at my desk. The hardest challenge I had to overcome was realizing I was no longer a day to day producer, training clients 12 hours a day, but a mentor and business owner.
